Rupafin - Biota Studios

Euroetika Laboratories launched Rupafin, a new antihistamine developed specifically for children. Through an animation inspired by the style of Pixar’s Cars, the goal was to position the medicine as faster-acting than its competitors.
The video features a close-up of each sick contestant. For this sequence, I created a frame-by-frame set of tears and runny noses to apply to the cars' faces.
The main character, the Rupafin Car, needed to show a progressive improvement in symptoms associated with nasal congestion. I conveyed this progression primarily by animating the windshield, treating it like eyes and eyelids to give the character a wide range of expressions.
Because the project centered around speed, I utilized some visual techniques to emphasize it: smoke effects, motion blur, speed lines on the asphalt, rapid horizon shifts, and, of course, speedy animation for the main character.
