I've always been fascinated by Latin American culture, so when Nebulario's friends asked me to animate Sol and Remi for their show, I was so excited! These two stars of the children's TV show "Camusi Camusi" go on these musical adventures, introducing viewers to the world of Latin American instruments. Remi, an impulsive boy with quick bursts of energy, contrasts perfectly with Sol, a calm and graceful girl. Their contrasting personalities were our main goal to translate into animation, especially when they interacted with instruments that were almost their size! Witnessing their musical journeys come alive through stop-motion was super rewarding. Plus, now I know way more Latin American instruments than I ever did before!
