AI - Biota Studios
Role: Motion Designer
Biota Studios commissioned me to animate The Naokiman Show episode about the technological progress of AI and the changes it will bring to the human future. Biota's visual style represented that digital future, and my purpose as the animator was to reinforce that concept.
Throughout the project and within the transitions, I used glitches not only to represent the digital medium, but also to depict the bugs of an emerging technology. I animated randomized color grids and microchips to evoke high-speed data transfer. Finally, I chose to animate the characters in a more robotic way to address the depersonalization of human beings as they transform into digital avatars.
